Future

Couple of things are in my mind.

It all began with the hunt for a place that I could call home. This is not something that we do everyday or on a regular basis. So this would be my latest obsession for the few weeks or so.

This will certainly changes things as I know it. The next 30 years of this life course will definitely take a whole new level of direction.

Shall I pack my bag and return back to live nearby my parents? Bought a house there and work for a teaching university hospital somewhere in the east coast. Have a family of my own there, grow a farm with a dozen of cows and goats.

Or shall I just stay put in Klang Valley, which means I might as well grab that condo and live happily overlooking the hills at sunset (presence of a female companion is optional).

... with a cup of hot milo of course!

Home is where the heart is. Where do you envision yourself to be in the near future?

Yours truly,

Often people would choose to stay with family..and yet i choose the other way round..and you seem to do the same..

some people just love to travel the road less taken, right?

Rezeki ada di mana2 selagi kita berusaha & bertawakkal di bumi Allah..tapi masa kita dgn org tua & keluarga amat terhad. Benar, ajal & maut di tangan Dia. Tepuk dada sakit, tepuk dahi berbekas. Sapa lah minda, sapa lah hati. Moga anda dapat jawapannya.

All the best, Dr.T

I owe you a return visit.

I should have gone to live where my mother was but I was under contract to work where 'they' wanted me. Now I regret for not having long enough time with her. If I had the choice I would choose 'somewhere in the east coast' where I could do a lot for the people and work where people would appreciate my contribution. After all I cannot be sure of another 30 days, let alone 30 years.

yes, agreed, how're you so sure that you'll be around in the next 30 years? ....let alone tomorrow ??

but come to think of it if u choose the east coast; yeah, not everyone can survive there... especially if ure the 'happening' type, hehe :)

I've been having the same thoughts too. Going home after along spell away from the family does make you feel like that sometimes. Only that this time, for me at least, the call seemed stronger. It is a hard choice, my dear friend. I wish you all the best in whatever you decide. Peace, bro.

Al-Manar freaked me out. I'll be going away on a 2 1/2 year contract. Now I feel like I'm taking my mom with me (definitely she would not agree) *sigh*
